Clockwork Acorn is an independent, fully remote game development studio based in South Africa, with headquarters in Cape Town. Founded in 2014, the studio focuses on creating thoughtful, long-lasting games with distinctive “chunky” design. Its projects include Monsters and Medicine, Luminare, Jetstream, and Feather’s Edge. The studio has also contributed development and post-release support to Terra Nil. In addition to its own games, Clockwork Acorn offers co-development, prototyping, full game development, and consulting services.
